Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary
Islands. It is also the least populated, providing us with the peace and
tranquillity that we often crave in life. It is said that the Canary Islands
each have something special to offer – Fuerteventura, without doubt, boasts
the best beaches. Mile after mile of completely natural white sands
accompanied by the blues and turquoises of the Atlantic Ocean. The island
relies on tourism, agriculture and fishing, therefore the villages are
sleepy farming villages or coastal, where evidence of the fishing and
tourist industries effortlessly blend. You can explore by car very easily
as the roads are very well planned and signposted. For the more
adventurous, there are cycling, quad and walking tracks. For sea
lovers boat trips, diving and snorkelling are all readily
available.
Fuerteventura’s gentle climate makes this a perfect
all year round holiday destination that is well worth the visit. |
